Welcome to the pristine white sand beaches, lush green mountains and blue glassy surf waves that make Casa Tortuga in Santa Teresa a natural tropical paradise! Casa Tortuga is a recently built (2007) 3 bedroom 2.5 bath tropical style home which provides the creature comforts and quality north American building standards, something which should not be taken for granted in this remote area. This 2000 square foot (180 square-meter)modern home is part of a four house gated complex on four acres(1.6m hectares) with 100 yards of beachfront on a magical stretch of secluded Playa Santa Teresa. Casa Tortuga enjoys the privacy of it's own 1/2 acre lot, the security of a gated community and the serenity of flowering gardens and mature tropical hardwoods. There is a typical palm roof "rancho" (gazebo) with hammocks and private swimming pool which you may find hard to get out of to make the short two-minute walk to the beautiful white sand beaches and 80+ degree year round warm water that makes Santa Teresa such a wonderful place.

Tortuga is conveniently located in a quiet residential neighborhood about one half-mile south of the world-famous Flor Blanca Hotel and roughly one mile north of the many shops and restaurants in the bohemian surf town of Santa Teresa. The house is as comfortable as it is functional, and reflects the casual elegance of Costa Rican living. The breezy open social side of the house offers three double sliders to the pool area. A large kitchen with an eat-up countertop bar, formal dining for 6 and a comfortable living room with a color TV. Both areas overlook the palm roof terrace, swimming pool, and are surrounded by vibrant tropical gardens and mature hardwood trees. The kitchen is well equiped and comes with a new 18 cubic foot refrigerator, four-burner gas stove with oven, microwave, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker and a wide variety of the kitchen utensils and cooking accesories.

Down the hall from the social area, past the 1/2 bath is the first floor master bedroom suite, which offers a king bed, separate A/C, ample closet space, a large private bathroom and a two double sliders to the outdoor gazebo and pool area, which is complete with an outdoor shower and a discrete area to hang wet clothes. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with 2 single beds each (which may be pushed together a left apart), ample closet space and a large bathroom. The upstairs balconies enjoy scenic mountain and ocean views. All bedrooms and living areas are well equipped with ceiling fans and 42,000 BTU's of A/C throughout the house, and separate A/C units in two of the bedrooms. Casa Tortuga is tastefully decorated with tropical hardwood furniture handmade by local craftsmen. Private parking for two vehicles, utilities, maid service, beach towels and mats and all other fees are all included. A safe, ADT Alarm system WiFi and Sky satelite TV are also part of casa tortuga numerous amenities.
